Once your printer is set up, you’ll be able to print from your computer.
Connecting to a Windows PC
When you connect a printer to your PC or add a new printer to your home network, you can usually start printing right away. Windows supports most printers, and you probably won’t have to go out of your way to install special printer software.
To connect a wireless printer to your Wi-Fi network:
Turn on the printer and place it near the computer and within range of the router during setup. Some printers have a Wireless icon and a blue light on the front or top while others have a wireless direct button on the control panel. If there isn’t a wireless direct button, look for HP wireless direct in the Wireless or Settings menu on the control panel.
